I love tea time. Taking a break during a busy day is probably the most civilized custom humans have ever created. Our two years of living in Malawi taught us that tea time is such a worthy tradition that the Africans decided to keep it after they got rid of every other vestige of colonialism. Businesses, schools, government, and everything else in Malawi shuts down every day at 10:00 AM for tea and biscuits. If only we Americans could pick up that habit. Oh well, I digress.
I don’t know the name of the other or which of these lovely pelicans I photographed. Some of these birds will most likely end up as painting subjects. Actually the whole park looked like a fairy tale setting especially with the flowering trees, daffodils, and parakeets.
